WARNING LABEL: Do not shake! read before lunch or meal!
Have you ever finished your business in the bathroom, looked down, patted yourself on the back, and said: “Yay, solid turd! Good job!” before flushing it down? … Yeah, me neither! … not until yesterday. Hahaha…. Lemme explain. I caught a nasty stomach flu virus and my bathroom has become my most-visited place in the house for the last couple days. Lots of vomiting, diarrhea, nausea, and headache. Sitting, or kneeling, by the toilet, you just can’t help thinking of those good old days when you just “go” normally in the bathroom. Anyways, sorry for leaving these thoughts in your head, but hopefully you read the warning label so this post doesn’t ruin your lunch, or day.
While I’m in bed resting, and my wife takes care of me, my children and the house chores, I can help pondering. We are taking granted for these simple daily tasks of eating, digesting, and… bowel movement. They are so basic, yet so important but we never look at them that way. We think we could do great things, face giants, understand and conquer sciences and technology, and even sometimes challenge God. But when He, who holds our lives in His hands, shuts down our basic physical operation, we wither like a flower in the summer heat. We are nothing if God doesn’t allow. Should we be thankful for our lives are in the hands of the Creator, who always care and love? Should we be acknowledged Him everyday while He still allows us to breath and eat? Are you pondering what I’m pondering, Pinky???
