They (who?! I don’t know) say, when you get old, you can forecast the weather. Back in Vietnam, my grandma had arthritis, so she told me she could feel it in her joints  when the weather was about to change. Well, my internal weather change detection device is not that sensitive yet (which is a good thing, I guess), but I definitely can tell the Spring is coming. You see, after living long enough in the US, I start developing allergy with pollens, dust, grass, and I’m not sure about pets’ furs yet, but possibly. Here in Colorado Springs, we get dust after the snow melt. We also get pollen from flowers and pines trees. So even though Spring is pretty, but it’s not very fun for me with all the running nose, itchy eyes, and nonstop sneezing. Claritin definitely helps, and it works wonder for me. I could not mowing lawn in summer without taking a Claritin first. But man, that med is expensive! Anyway, weather is getting warmer here, 70F in March, can you believe it? Snow are melting. Seeing more greenery. And easiest sign to spot, my daughter will have Springs Break in couple weeks. Spring is definitely here soon.

On the side note, I saw a church billboard on the drive to work, and it says:

“For today forecast,  God reigns and the Son shines”

Awesome!

  1. Well, don’t feel too bad. I have allergy too. I cannot sleep too well for over a week. Right now my nose are stoped up. I only taste the air by mouth. Awful!!! Will see if changing location will change my alergy. hehehe :)
