How Grace spent Spring Break

How does Grace spend her Spring Break? … with her daddy at his workplace most of the time!! Grace got 2-week off for Spring Break. Yeah, two weeks!!! That is  ”yay yuppi” for her, but as for us, it is more of a hassle. We can’t take off work, or vacation, beside she just got back from a long vacation with her mom. So we got to coordinate daycare, and also activities to keep her busy.  We spread out her week, couple days at daycare to play with friends, other days at daddy’s workplace.

Grace is pretty excited going to work with daddy, so she tries to get up early each morning, packing her toys and crayons. I bring the sleeping bag for her to take nap after lunch, so she has a little campsite at  my office corner.  Her typical workday agenda is playing, or coloring, lunch, nap, writing practice/crafts, and movies. There’s no physical activity in the schedule, but that’s indended. I don’t want her to run around, and make noise distracting other people while they are working. Still, it’s a pretty eventful day,  is it not?!! My boss actually brings in his kid’s toys for her to play as well. After finishing her writing homework,  she gets to watch Sponge Bob, or whichever Disney movie I grab from RedBox on the way to work. I think Grace enjoys her day.  At the end of day, she brings home product she made to show mom: something she drew, or colored,  beads bracelet, or molded clay figures.

Last night, we went to see the very funny animated movie Monsters vs. Alien in 3D. Grace liked the movie, especially the 3D. She kept saying: “oh that’s so cool!” throughout the movie. So today, Grace made a set of clay monsters (see picture). I forgot to take pictures to show you the stuff she made last week: beads bracelets for mommy, Benjamin and herself.  She also made pretty clay mushroom, flowers, butterfly with a moustache…
