Count Our Days

Counting God's blessing in our daily lives

End Of School Year

It’s the end of the school year 2008-2009.  Today is the last school day for Grace. Yesterday, she performed with the rest of her Kindergarten classmates in the theatrical event at school. They all dressed up in pretty clothes, and wearing bee costumes. We were impressed that they memorized and sang 5 songs. There was one rock-n-roll song which each of them had a styrofoam guitar prop to play along. One dressed up as Elvis. They seemed to have lots of fun.  We didn’t get a clear shot of Grace from the choir though.

Do you see Grace? No? Yeah, neither do we!

Ben also went to watch his sister performance, clapped and cheered after every song.

Camera points at us. Look sharp, mom.

Camera! Everyone look sharp, and say cheese!

And, what is this? Some sort of terrorist attack on the house with a rocket? No! It’s an Air force thunderbid doing a big loop. This shot was taken from my office window. I saw couple thunderbirds flew by in formation but I didn’t grabbed the camera soon enough.  On this same day, the Air Force Academy also held the graduation ceremony, and the Vice President Joe Biden was here to give the graduation speech. As the tradition, the Air Force Thunderbirds performed the after the ceremony. I heard the air show is really awesome, but I have never gone to watch it.

House demolition with rocket?
