Backpack, check! Supplies, check! Lunch money, check! Grace is going to 1st grade this year, and today marks her first day of school. A school year has begun! This school district has 2 weeks of Fall Break and and 2 weeks of Springs Break, hence their school year begins earlier and ends later than other schools.

 

Grace doesn’t seem to mind going to school though. She catches up with her friends, and stats chit chat right away while lining up. This year she will experiences full day schedule, and eat lunch in cafeteria for the first time. Somehow I have a feeling it’s going to be a long day for her. But she’ll be alright.
