Another “joy” of Colorado weather: hail storm! Weather in Colorado is so unexpected, unpredictable. I have seen many hail storms, but I have never one while the sky was still blue, sunshine on the west, light overcast cloud on the east, and pouring down hail storm like yesterday. It was all over in few minutes resulting in thick white cover on the ground, like snow. The firetruck siren could be heard from a far.
The hail size was small, not like goft ball size which is quite common around Colorado here. Our apple tree and the vegetable bed survived.
